What I would enjoy wearing at the beach. Now, if only the weather would comply...

This set is a variation on what I am wearing today. With temperatures hitting 30 (and a thunderstorm on the way), I figure it's fitting :D

It's that time of year again - the time that most people get nostalgic over, but really shouldn't. I think no one in their right mind actually enjoys spring! What they think of as spring is really early summer :D
 
Today it rained, snowed, iced, and generally sucked weather wise. This is what I would have liked to wear if the temperature was a good 15 degrees (or 20 degrees) warmer.

Well, there's still snow on the ground, but I can always dream.
 
On a positive note, the semester is almost over! no more FT work and grad school!

I forgot tomorrow was Valentines, and my husband is coming to visit! (we live apart while I work in the city... you take what work you can get). I'm super excited to see him, and this marks the 10th year that I have looked forward to having him as my partner.
 
I used to hate Valentines Day (heck, one year my ex dumped me the night before), but then my little brother pulled me out of my slump and took me snowboarding. From that Valentines on (15 years ago), I have made it my vow not to have a crappy time.
 
I made this outfit to commemorate how I feel about the 'holiday'! A real heartbreaker outfit :D

I love monochromatic palates (even before they were cool ;) and gray is no exception.
 
I mixed the grays with some blue and gold (hoping not to saturate the layout with either).

Well, it was my birthday a few days ago (yey), and while I had a great time, I am planning on postponing my 'celebrations' (cough me watching movie marathons cough) until the 16th, after my projects are done.
 
I hope to wear something along these lines while eating Indian food and pancakes, because you can't account for taste.

After a week of beautiful (warm) weather, canada has yet again frozen over - and that means the tights are back out!
 
While I don't really know how I feel about pairing a jersey black dress with dark tights (I'm more of a skin coloured kind of gal), I felt this was a good idea! I would have preferred a much lighter green (same colour as the bag), but I satisficed :D

Well, it's brutally cold today, a true January day, and walking to the subway has become problematic (even if it is just a 5 minute walk).
 
Hats and earmuffs are in order, along with thermal socks and wool gloves, but i long for warmer days :D
 
Needless to say when i get to work, my hair is awful (even worse now that it's short!)
